R&D新增加了一些白介素17（IL-17）家族的配體和受體的熒光染料結合的抗體。IL-17家族配體是誘導局部細胞因子產(chǎn)生的促炎癥細胞因子，并參與了免疫功能的調(diào)節(jié)，主要是變態(tài)反應。6個成員，IL-17、IL-17B、IL-17C、IL-17D、IL-17E（也就是IL-25）和IL-17F是結構相關的蛋白，在C端附近有著保守的半*結折疊，N端的序列差異相當大。IL-17家族成員激活三個受體——IL-17 R、IL-17B R和IL-17 RC。兩個與IL-17 R同源的孤兒受體分別命名為IL-17 RD和IL-17 RE，它們的功能配體目前還不清楚。
下面顯示了用IL-17B（圖1）、IL-17C（圖2）或IL-17E（圖3）的新抗體通過流式細胞儀檢測細胞內(nèi)染色。IL-17B在脊髓高表達，并結合IL-17B R，而不結合IL-17 R。研究表明IL-17B和C刺激人單核細胞系THP-1中TNF-α和IL-1β的釋放。IL-17E結合并激活IL-17B R，它在炎癥環(huán)境中上調(diào)。
表1列出了R&D提供的IL-17家族配體和受體的所有熒光染料結合抗體。另外，R&D還提供了Human IL-17 Fluorokine® Flow Cytometry Kit（貨號：NF1700），用于檢測IL-17的功能受體和估計其在細胞表面的密度。
