Background:

The muscarinic cholinergic receptors belongto a larger family of G protein-coupled receptors. The functional diversity ofthese receptors is defined by the binding of acetylcholine and includescellular responses such as adenylate cyclase inhibition, phosphoinositidedegeneration, and potassium channel mediation. Muscarinic receptors influencemany effects of acetylcholine in the central and peripheral nervous system. Themuscarinic cholinergic receptor 3 controls smooth muscle contraction and itsstimulation causes secretion of glandular tissue. [provided by RefSeq].Function: The muscarinic acetylcholine receptor mediates various cellular responses,including inhibition of adenylate cyclase, breakdown of phosphoinositides andmodulation of potassium channels through the action of G proteins. Storage:  Store at-20℃ for one year. Avoidrepeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least onemonth and for greater  than a year whenkept at -20℃. Whenreconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent  of antibody, the antibody is stable for atleast six weeks at 2-4 ℃
