Secure Tracking

Each polypropylene open-top tube has a unique 2D barcode laser-etched onto the base, plus a white patch with 1D linear barcode and human readable text on the side
2D barcodes are resistant to 99% DMSO, ideal for compound processing and storage
Non-proprietary 2D barcodes and 1D linear barcodes can be scanned with the Thermo Scientific VisionMate family of barcode readers

Superior Storage Format

ANSI-format latch racks maximize storage space and are compatible with multichannel manual pipettes or automated liquid handling equipment
Barcoded latch racks include 1D and 2D barcodes, plus human readable text on three sides to provide added same traceability
The latch rack lid can be lifted robotically for 2D tube access with automated liquid handling systems and high throughput applications

Stringent Quality Control

Every 2D barcoded storage tube is scanned to guarantee readability
Each code is checked against a full database of all previously assigned 2D codes to ensure zero duplicates across the entire line of Matrix 2D barcoded storage tubes

Storage Tracking Solutions for Any Laboratory

Custom 2D coding options are available to meet your laboratory's individual database or tracking requirements
Tubes are available with a range of sealing options including Thermo Scientific SepraSeals and DuraSeals
SepraSeals are available in a range of color options for visual categorization of samples
Pre-Split SepraSeals allow for repeated sample access in automation
